Breakups are painful. They leave us feeling broken and devastated, like a grenade exploded in our chest. We feel like we will never get over it or ever be the same again. The truth is though you can find worth in the negative. There are lessons we can take away from Ariana Grande Thank U, Next.

  • Lesson 1 – Your breakup is an opportunity to cultivate “a new chapter” in your life. Even though they feel like your world is ending, they are really a new beginning. It is all in how you look at it.

  • Lesson 3“Embrace your path bumps n all.” Breakup’s aren’t easy. But they do change us and grow us in ways we never thought. That is the beauty of a breakup, as strange and weird as that may sound.
  •  Lesson 4 – There are so many lessons your breakup can teach you if you are open to it. “Jus love, gratitude, acceptance, honesty, forgiveness and growth.

The Power of Your Breakup

Your breakup is more powerful than you think and not for the reasons you might be thinking. Even the worst breakups have the power to show you what you are made of. It reveals strengths and powers you didn't think you had. Sometimes it is when we are at our lowest and weakest, is when we are really our strongest. Deep I know. Take that in for a minute. The most powerful thing about breakups is that they inspire change. Every relationship teaches us something. Your breakup is your gateway to your next level of greatness. How powerful is that? Real powerful!

Learn the Lessons and Move On

Easier said than done. This is probably one of the hardest things to do after breakup. It takes time to get to that place of acceptance and forgiveness. But you do get there. Everyone has their own time. I gave myself a date and that really helped me to make peace with things and to move on. Breakups are inevitable. They happen.

The key is to be thankful to your ex(es) for the lessons they taught you and for what you learned from being with them. Never forget that you decide what you do after your breakup and how you move on. Ariana Grande Thank U, Next she talks about her lessons from her exes. One taught her love, another patience and, and one pain. Now these lessons have made her "amazing".

Celebrities Who Have Banked from Breakup

Ariana Grande is not the first celebrity, nor will she be the last celebrity to bank from breakup. Breakups can inspire so many positive things believe it or not. Don't believe me, well you can take a page from Khloe Kardashian's Revenge Body. Rhianna believes that your breakup is a gift. What about Beyonce's Lemonade? When life throws you a breakup, hey make breakup lemonade. Just saying. Of course there is Cardi B who would rather have money than be heartbroken and broke. I totally agree. But Beyonce sums it up best, "always stay gracious, best revenge is your paper."  And we can't forget Taylor Swift who really is the epitome of Banking from Breakup (Breakup = Billboard Hit = Bank). So yes, Banking from Breakup is a thing and it's not just for celebrities. Anyone can bank from their breakup. It just requires you to decide and be a bit of a breakup rebel aka bada$$. Because, as I always say, you should never leave a breakup empty handed. There is money in your mess!

Your Mission Should You Choose to Accept it

Mission possible: Your mission is to find a quiet place with pen and paper in hand and ask yourself the following two questions. The thing is that your answers just might surprise you. We always think that nothing good can come from something so bad like a breakup. But I proved to myself that my breakup was an untapped goldmine. And today I am reaping so much from such a painful experience. As my mom says, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. So here are the two questions to ponder.

1) What have you learned from your heartbreak(s)?

2) Why are you grateful for your ex?

Me, I wouldn't have started Banking from Breakup if it weren't for my last ex. The lessons I've learned are nothing short of priceless. They basically gave me a blank check to cash. So thank you to my ex. I appreciate you! Thank you heartbreak. I had a breakup, but here's the thing I refused to let it break me or shatter my heart into a million tiny pieces. Instead I let it build me and elevate me to my next level. My last breakup has allowed me to step into my greatness. Who would have ever thought. I have zero regrets.
