The Birth of Queen Naija Tour kicks off officially. Queen Naija's long awaited tour starts today. But it wasn't that long ago, a little less than a year ago that Queen Naija was going through a terrible heartbreak of her own. Finding out her then husband Chris Sails was cheating on her could have broken her. But she chose to use her pain as her power. Her heartbreak became her healing and her music her message for creative expression. The rest as we say is history! Her journey to rising out of the ashes and becoming a force in her own right is nothing short of phenomenal. What would have derailed most, only made Queen more determined than ever. 

It seems like it was just yesterday when Queen Naija was just a YouTuber. Now she is starting her 30+ city tour across the USA and Canada promoting her self-titled EP Queen Naija. This is not a surprise to her mom Reava who named her Queen Naija. She was not named Queen Naija by accident. Her mom spoke over her life and into her life before she was born. Queen has been preparing for this moment since she was 3 years old. She started out singing in church and today she is sharing her gift with the world. Her gift has made room for her. 

December 31, 2017. Queen's release of Medicine was her way of telling her side of the story when her marriage to Chris Sails ended. "I just kind of put all my pain into a song." And in true Royalty Squad fashion her 2 million plus supporters at the time were there for it. Within three weeks, “Medicine” debuted at No. 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 which is a remarkable accomplishment for an unsigned artist.

March 21, 2018. From releasing her hit track Medicine Queen made Spotify's Chilled R&B Playlist as an unsigned artist which is unheard of.  It is the ultimate playlist of groovy R&B artists and their music. She's blowing up the Billboard scene.  

March 29, 2018. Queen dropped the video for Medicine the breakup anthem of 2018. The video went viral on YouTube. To date is has had over 80,606,173 views. Medicine is no question 2018's. It later went on to hit #45 on the Billboard 100 April 10, 2018. All of this before even being signed.

April 27, 2018. Queen Naija signs a multi-million dollar deal with Capitol Records with the help of hip hop and R&B music producer NO I.D. He fell in love with how Queen told her story through her music. She is gifted. Imagine, she went from a messy divorce to a 7-figure record deal. Her breakup was her greatest gift and her biggest blessing.

May 16, 2018. Queen embarked on months long radio campaign to introduce her EP to the masses. That was followed up with radio promotions in June. She has been on close to every major big radio stations across the USA. From radio summits, interviews, promo spots, photo shoots, Queen has done it all. 2018 has been her year. No doubt. She has seen crazy success in such a short period of time.

June 24, 2018. Queen stepped out at the BET Awards. From the living with Clarence in the basement to the BET Awards. She looked stunning on the red carpet.

July 8, 2018. Queen and Clarence started the Royal Family YouTube Channel. To date they have 1,470,780 subscribers.

July 19, 2018. The cover art on her EP symbolizes being at a crossroad in life and making the right choice with which way to go. We can all relate to that.

July 27, 2018. Queen released her 5-track EP. She describes her self-titled EP- Queen Naija as an emotional timeline of what happened in her marriage to where she is now in her life. Each song telling a different part of her story and her journey. The collection has raked in over 280 million-plus cumulative streams to date. 

July 29, 2018. The streams of Karma propelled Queen to the top of the Billboard’s Emerging Artists Charts. Streams of “Karma” surpassed 13 million in the U.S. in the first week of its release. Karma debuted at No. 63 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 10 on the R&B Songs chart.

July 30, 2018. Queen was named YouTube’s Artist On The Rise for the month of August She also captured the iHeart Artist On The Verge. YouTube unveiled a mega digital billboard of Queen in New York City’s Times Square along with additional billboards across Los Angeles. 

July 30, 2018. Queen Naija causes mayhem in Times Square! She literally caused a stampede to the point where she needed a police escort to leave the area. 

August 9, 2018. Queen along side her Instagram crush ClarenceNYC (Clarence White) announce to their supporters that they are expecting their first child (Baby Renzo) together. Queen's son, 3-year-old CJ is going to be a big brother. 

September 11, 2018. Queen Naija announces the launch of her headlining North American tour that kicks off officially October 29. The tour is in support of her self-titled debut EP, Queen Naija which is out now and available for download and streaming via Capitol Records.

September 13, 2018. Queen is makes the 2018 Tidal line up. She has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. There is nothing you can't do. Queen didn't let the circumstances of her marriage derail her from her destiny. 

September 17, 2018. Queen and Clarence do their long awaited baby gender reveal video. It's a boy! Baby Renzo coming soon. 

Queen Naija has been getting mad love and support and celebrity shout outs from the likes of Cardi B, Kourtney K, Jay-Z, A Boogie, Jamie Foxx, No ID, Kehlani, TI, Nick Cannon, Safari, Princess and Ray J, Chris Brown, HER, and just a host of radio personalities. Her music is so heartfelt and relatable. She writes from her own life and experiences which makes her music genuine, real and authentic. It's easy to see why people love her. 

October 8, 2018. Queen was named Vevo's newest LIFT artist of 2018. Vevo’s LIFT provides a platform to connect today’s rising stars to audiences around the globe. 

October 17, 2018. Happy Birthday Queen Naija! Yes at just 23-years-old Queen Naija has been through so much and has accomplished so much. She has been able to heal her hurt and use her pain as her power. 

October 23, 2018. Queen showed out and slayed at Jay-Z's Tidal x Brooklyn Benefit Concert. at the Barclays Centre.

October 25, 2018. BET announces official nominees for the 2018 Soul Train Awards. Queen has been nominated for "Best New Artist of 2018". 

October 29, 2018. Queen kicked off her TBOQN Tour. She toured 30+ cities across the USA and Canada. 

November 19, 2018. Medicine went Platinum (2 million in sales)  and Karma went Gold (1 million in sales). What an achievement for Queen as a new break out artist. 

November 25, 2018. Queen performed at the Soul Train Cypher with some of the newest up and coming R&B artists as well as some of the great legends like Erykah Badu and Kelly Price. She gave a great freestyle performance. 

November 28, 2018. It's official. Queen and Clarence confirmed their baby's name. They have decided to name their son "Legend Lorenzo White".  Just how Queen's mother spoke into her life, she is doing the same with her son. 

December 10, 2018. Queen wrapped 2018 with over 72 million streams, 6 million fans, 3 million hours of streams in 65 countries. What a year it has been for Queen Naija.

December 12, 2018. Medicine hits #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B National Airplay. It has been holding strong on the charts for 16 weeks and 2 weeks at #1. What an achievement for Queen.

December 13, 2018. Queen Naija Artist Spotlight Story (Official Trailer) released on YouTube. A Way Out  tells the Story of Queen Naija's phenomenal rise to fame.

December 13, 2018. War Cry was released on all Digital Streaming Platforms. War Cry is Queen's first gospel single that she debuted during her tour that has gained so much attention at her shows. Think of War Cry as a battle cry for your spirit and not letting the devil win. It is a really heart-felt deeply powerful song that moves you.

December 17, 2018. "A Way Out" premiered on YouTube. Directed by Kanyessa McMahon and produced by YouTube music. It tells the story of Queen Naija's phenomenal rise to fame. Growing up in Ypsilanti, MI the young R&B artist transformed from YouTube sensation to Billboard No.1 star seemingly overnight. Queen's story is one of perseverance, and this documentary explores the trials of her childhood and her fierce drive to succeed.

December 15,  2018. TBOQN Tour  wrapped. Queen finished her sold out 37 show tour while being 8 months pregnant. Some 30+ cities across the USA and Canada later, heavily pregnant, living out of a suitcase on a tour bus  Queen has proved that she is a force and that she was made for this. Her come up has been fierce, nothing short of amazing. From the release of her debut song Medicine on YouTube New Year's Eve 2017 to 11 months later to a sold out 37 show tour. She has turned her breakup and struggles into massive success. 

December 21, 2018. Queen is featured on A Boogie's track Come Closer. She killed it!

December 26, 2018. Medicine sits at #1 (for the last 4 weeks) on the Adult R&B charts; War Cry places #1 on the Hot Gospel Songs in it's first week. Medicine placed 9th, Karma placed 85th and Butterflies placed 38th for the best R&B songs released in 2018 according to critics picks.

December 27, 2018. Rolling Stone named Queen Naija's EP as one of the 10 Best Albums of 2018. It ranked #7. Not bad for a new comer to the R&B scene. Queen slayed 2018. 

December 29, 2018. Medicine tops the  2018 Year End Airplay Charts (Top 50) at number 32, with 58,905 spins according to USA Today.This is just the beginning for Queen. Stay Tune as she prepares to drop her Album in 2019.

December 31, 2018. Queen prepares to meet her second son, due January 2019, Baby Legend Lorenzo White. What Queen has accomplished in the last 12 months is nothing short of legendary. 

To date, Queen despite being a newly signed artist continues to do YouTube as a thank you to her supporters. Her social media following has just exploded even more since she got signed. She has over 5 million supporters on Instagram.  526k on Twitter.   Over 3.5 million on YouTube. She is also on Snap Chat and Facebook. 

What a year for Queen. There is no question that 2018 has been the Year of Queen Naija. From YouTube star to super stardom, Queen Naija is having a record-breaking year. Queen is undeniable as a singer and songwriter. Clearly, she is 2018’s biggest breakout R&B star. For Queen to have come through a bitter breakup, an embarrassing and humiliating cheating scandal, then a public divorce to now be crushing it is amazing. Queen Naija takes banking from breakup to a whole new level. That said, you don't have to be Queen Naija to bank from your own breakup. You get to choose how you bank from your own breakup.

The point of this post is to show that your breakup doesn't have to break you. In fact it can be the thing that actually builds you and takes you to your next level of greatness. There is a pot of gold on the other side of your breakup if you choose to go after it.
